“I am a huge believer in the value of the Jeffersonian Principles of Education,” Maquet said. “I have seen how much they helped me form my future career and, more importantly, how they have impacted everyone who graduates from U.Va. The College’s endowment will play a key role in bringing the best faculty possible to our University, and I think that it is extraordinarily important for the College to continue upgrading our faculty every chance we get.”
